Sept. 1st, Driving to Edmonton
The night was cold and this morning there was snow halfway down the mountains around Jasper. We had a very good breakfast at the Jasper Bear Paw Bakery. Afterwards we drove the 350km to Edmonton and arrived sometime afternoon at our motel. This evening we had a fine dinner at "The Creperie" in Edmonton (the place received a thumbs up from friends). As usual the two "picky" kids had a harder time to figure out what they wanted :-). It wasn't so much that they didn't like crepes, but figuring out what exactly came with the crepes. Ultimately after changing some plates around in real-time on the table among us, everyone was very happy. I guess seeing a meal is very different from ordering a meal from a menu by some German youngsters.Bear Paw Breakfast Items |
